Ok here me and other allience members will post things for the transport system, please fell free to add imput, but we make the final decision

i agree with al strider in that we need 1 solid route before we go to other planets. which also means we have more than 1 ship.

IT wont need weapons all factions should agree to having it in peace. And we need multiple ships on one rout for now.

well i was thinking 2 ships per rout, we use the rout alreddy made, to designate the ships as they will all be the smae type, instead of names, we give them numbers like buses, as in T01 for T=Transport/0=Personel transport/1=personel ship 1 and T= transport/1=vehical transport/1=vehical transport 1

well, ebven though i did not discuss this with the thing, i wish to have 1 rep from the republic, 1 from the order, and 1 from the rebellion, the only reason i am doing this now is so that once the thing tells me to hire people for the bored, i have a list of people ready, also i want 1 person from each faction, prefebly faction leaders so i can determin if there are any off limits planets, or quarentined planets that the transport shouldent go to, also Ta'u we should add a Ship stop station, like a bus stop for space, that only the transport system can buy, so that instead of building a landing platform, we just dock in rthe station, i should also have regular docking ports for all ships, and also i would like a Bus/Ship station to be added so we can build specalised transports/busses there that no one else can use so it is free at all times to store the transports and repair if neccisary.

I like that idea of the station Willice. As for the main route, I thought I had drawn it up and uploaded the map a while ago (maybe I'm just suffering from delusions) and yes, start with one main route, a ship with preferably no weapons and it should go to each of the major planets in the game (ie the homeworlds and a few others). All Order planets are free for use, though I suggest Coruscant definitely be on the list and possibly Kashyyk too, as I intend to build up Kashyyk's infrastructure soon too.

well yu figured out a rout yes, but with the current war i dont want the ship flying into a warzone and or planets that are likley to have a war, as in Nal'hutta, anyway couricant and kyssek are a must for this rout as they are major planets.
I think the fare should be 40 per planet, as the system is new and it is low on credits, eventually the price will go down or up depending on the war, everyweek each faction should get a faction of the profits at the end of the week, 10% each, then the rest goes to the transport, at the end of the week.

this was my intitial idea, to keep people from getting greedy, all the money goes to paying off the transport system, and eventually, once payed off, the moey goes into a special bank account, for further constructions etc

No players will be hired for the system, we will only use NPC pilots. Mostly because making any kind of planet to planet route, and especially one that quickly gets you from point A to point B when you want, would be hard to maintain using real players. Also, it costs less.
Regarding the money, i think that's a pretty good idea, willice. Though the 10% probably wont be needed as it'll be too little...

well, players that pilot the ships would also just get a 20-40% cut if what they earn that day, that way its not taking aall the money

Yes, it will cost us to make, maintain and expand it. We wont get all of it from players, but it will help.

ok lets see now, hmmmm, how will we determan ship numbers, as i wish to number the ships we use, like busses in real life they have numbers, well attlease in PA that is.
I was thinking that it would go like this, the ships that go to any factions system will have 100-199 in there name, ships that go to republic will only have 200-299 in there name, ships that go to SA will only have 300-399, Order 400-499, amd rebelion 500-599

Why not just name them after their routes? Like the bastion-regee or bastion-coruscant line? It would be like this

is there any busses that are Pittsburgh to North hills, or london to paris, and so on, that would be trains, but i do want to get some ship trains eventually to carry vehicals and personel, i also have some plans to buy capital ships, gut them and put in spa's, pools, hotel rooms, like a cruse liner.

Well, no, but the system i proposed would be easier to keep track of, and who would anyone use cruise liners anyway?
And i just got an idea, we could make slower planet to planet ships, and faster sector to sector ships. Like give the sector to sector ships advanced drives, and the planet to planet ones standard drives.

i would want to number the ships because instead of remembering a huge name, i would like to remember a small number, all you have to do is no were your ship is going, wich will be posted under that ships topic, so you dont have to go to another topic to find a ship.

Naming them after their routes would be easier to remember because, well,having to remembering a number is harder than just having to know where you're going and where you are.
